Selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium of ₹25,000. Additionally, there is a performance-based incentive of up to ₹10,000 per month, depending on the individual’s performance in the role. To ensure commitment, candidates are required to submit a surety bond of ₹2.5 lakh. This bond confirms that the selected individual will serve in the position for a minimum of three years
UP CHO Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
- B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with an integrated Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN) from a recognized institution.
- The integrated curriculum should be completed in academic year 2020 or later.
- Applicants must register with the UP Nurses & Midwives Council within 90 days of joining if not already registered.
Age Limit
The minimum age required is 21 years as of 17th November 2024. The maximum age allowed is 40 years as of the same date.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/OBC: 5 years
- PwD: 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service period rendered in the Armed Forces

Community Health Officer Selection Process
